  Couldn't be better! The best thing is that my 6yrs old son wake me up to not miss the first service! We love the people a d the atmosphere!

  Attended Sunday 11:00 service last week. It's a large church. Much of the people in attendance are under 40. Service started with an intro, hello, and prayer and then a few modern Christian songs played and sung with a 9 piece Christian Pop/Rock band. Lyrics are shown on 2 large screens. We were told the papers under all our seats are a survey about how we feel about the church and we were asked to fill them out. Then a few minute run through upcoming events and such, then introduced today's presentation, which is part of a weekly series. The rest of service was watching the screens with a guy talking about in this case why 'if the bible says it, that settles it" doesn't work and what does work.
  After service, I asked a church helper if today was usual for service, with the pastor speaking a bit and otherwise mostly screen time? He said yes today was a typical service and explained how the weekly series works and that the video presenters aren't church members.
  I like the feel good atmosphere of the church, but feel that the church is severely lacking if the church doesn't have anyone who can regularly give sermon, have any more then (that day, not even) a few one liners to inspire, educate and strengthen. It comes off as a cop-out and not fulfilling what our modern 'canned', prefab, one size fits all, impersonal, unconnected lives.
